To Whom It May Concern, I had the privilege of attending your amusement park on Friday, July 23, 2021. I was so excited because I had never been before, and I could see all the roller coasters walking in.

I had promised my friends a truthful review after a fun filled day of spending time with my family on different rides. But, after a few hours my excitement disappeared and anger took its spot.I was at your amusement park with some young family members who werent able to ride the big rides yet. We saw that you had living animals on your map, so we decided to visit them to keep the young family members entertained. Walking to the stingray exhibit, I was thinking we could come back in a few years, once my cousins were older.

After seeing how these animals were treated, Im not sure I ever want to come back though. There were probably around seven stingrays in a fifteen foot wide pool. This is not the correct habitat for a stingray. Stingrays like to spend their time partially buried under sand or mud, and there was no sand or mud in sight. Also, stingrays like their habitats around one hundred and eighty feet deep, and this was nowhere near that.

My five year old cousin could reach in and almost be touching a stingray. Speaking of touching stingrays, your one sign saying to wash your hands before and after touching the animals was ignored by everyone. So those poor animals were receiving everyones germs that they picked up from your park. And they dont like being touched.

Imagine being slapped, and poked, and tickled all day long, just so some big cooperation could make money. Thats not a way to live.Twenty feet away was the heart shattering penguin exhibit. Penguins are arctic animals. They live near the ocean, in the southern hemisphere.

July in California is nowhere near their natural habitat. There were about fifteen penguins in this enclosure, all huddled under one tiny artificial palm tree trying to find shade. I know how exhausting it feels being under the hot sun all day, but I get to go inside to an air conditioned house afterwards to cool down. Penguins dont get to.

They have to endure the kind of pain you put them in just because you think it would be cool to have a penguin at your park. This is not how these penguins should spend their lives. I saw one penguin whose head was so badly burned, it was pink and blistered instead of black. The kind of treatment that youre giving the penguins is the kind of treatment that makes me want to post online how horrible your park is and convince people not to go anymore.Lions live in groups called prides, but the one lion living alone in a small enclosure, makes me want to hop in there with him to show him love.

Lions dont live alone, they live in groups, thats how theyre supposed to be. I cant even begin to imagine how lonely that life is, living all alone day after day. Some animals get so bored in enclosures like this, that they hurt themselves. Do you really want your only lion to smash its head against the glass? The giraffe exhibit didnt have close to enough trees.

There were four or five tall trees at most. Giraffes eat up to seventy five pounds every day, so Im wondering how much they get to eat here. Considering their floors were barren, they had just a few trees, and they spend everyday under the hot sun, Im guessing theyre weak, and dont get the nutrients they need. The walrus enclosure was the last one I could visit, because of how heartbreaking the others live. And this one was one of the saddest.

Like lions, walruses live in groups called herds. This walrus was all alone. My whole family felt so bad for this poor little walrus laying there all alone in the water. Walruses live in the arctic, like penguins.

And seeing how you treated these penguins, Im going to guess the water wasnt cold enough. The treatment you are giving these animals is outrageous. I will not be coming back to any of your parks if this doesnt change. I will not be recommending you to any of my friends, and I will leave a bad review to anyone who asks. Just because you think including animals in your park is a way to make more money, doesnt mean these animals should be forced to endure this torture.

Idealy you should get rid of the animals all together because this is an amusement park, not a zoo, but if you cant do that, I have some recommendations. First, you need to make the penguin enclosure better. Add more shade, make it colder, and put it indoors so they can have ice. I understand that animals are expensive, but if you arent willing to get rid of the lion, add another before the boredom becomes excruciating.

Make the water for the walrus deeper, and consider getting another. And some sand or mud to the bottom of the stingray pool to make it seem like the bottom of the ocean floor. Also, consider not letting people touching the animals, but if you cant do that, then enforce the hand washing policy.

Lastly, add some more trees for the giraffes, so they have more food. Please consider these ideas if you want continuing customers.

Preferred solution: A change in the animal enclosures..

Six Flags Pros: Fun.

Six Flags Cons: Terrible animal treatment.
